What a great start to 100 WWC-MMW!

What a great meeting! Even with the “winter storm” threatening to interfere, we had 52 women attending the first official meeting of 100 Women Who Care—MKE Metro West.

The winner was Hebron House presented by Lynn Bartl. All three presentations were very well done and extremely well received. It was a difficult decision.

At our meeting on Tuesday night, over $5,000 was raised with more to come from those unable to attend. What a difference we are making in our community!

For over thirty years, the Hebron House in Waukesha has provided shelter and services to individuals and families suffering from homelessness. This means providing food, clothing, shelter and related services to care for women, men and children. The Executive Director of the Hebron House will be at our next meeting of 100 Women Who Care—MKE Metro West on June 7 to tell us about their plans for using the funds we raised for them. You can learn more about the Hebron House at http://hebronhouse.org.

We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting on Tuesday, June 7, at O’Donoghue’s in Elm Grove. Check out and “like” our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/100WWCMKEMetroWest/. You may see familiar faces who are having a fun time while making a difference.

Thank you very much for your generosity and caring in being part of this organization that wants to contribute in meaningful ways to our communities.
