100+ Women Who Care
Milwaukee Metro West
What a delightful evening we had to celebrate 100+ Women Who Care—MKE Metro West’s eight years of making a difference in our community. It was wonderful to meet with friends, have great food provided by O’Donoghue’s Irish Pub, enjoy delicious cupcakes, and, most importantly, choose a new charity to support those needing help in our communities.
Three wonderful charities truly making a difference for those in our communities were presented at the March 26 Meeting.
The charity chosen for support of 100+ Women Who Care--MKE Metro West for this meeting is:
Adaptive Community Approach Program suggested by Elaine Sprenger
The Adaptive Community Approach Program (ACAP) is an organization that serves individuals that have physical and developmental disabilities. ACAP offers community-based programming with more than 70 classes per week. These programs allow individuals more than 70 classes per week. ACAP has been a United Way partner since 2003. ACAP works to strengthen our community in a mutually interdependent and integrated way. Our programs blend in with existing resources and demonstrate the contributing citizenship of our members. Their community-based programs are offered in Adaptive Sports & Recreation, Advocacy, Education & Enrichment, Expressive Arts & Theater, and Volunteerism/Community Service.

100+ Women Who Care MKE Metro West
100+ Women Who Care of Milwaukee Metro West strives to strengthen our communities by providing funds to local charities committed to improving the lives of people in communities west of Milwaukee.
Our mission is to bring together, for one hour every four months, at least 100 women. Each member contributes $100, personally or through a team, to a local charity chosen by members in that one hour that will make a difference in our communities.
Come join us to make a difference while you are having fun! You not only will be improving the lives of others but will be enriching your own life.
The kind clothing donations that many brought to our November meeting have been delivered to Rebecca Surges and Debbie Duskey of St. Vincent de Paul just in time as our temperatures drop. It is such an important way that we are making a difference in our communities by helping those truly in need of warm clothing for our bitter winters.
If you are able to provide any more of these clothing items, please call (414) 462-7863 and they will arrange to get the items to the meal site location. You can also drop items off at 4476 S. 108 Street or email them at pwest@svdpmilw.org with any questions.
Thank you for your help in this important way.
