Greetings to 100+ Women Who Care,
Our meeting last night was a tremendous success. We had such a wonderful turnout for our GIVING TUESDAY Meeting. Our members in attendance had the opportunity to learn about 3 amazing charities. And thank you to all who spent your evening with us.
One of the highlights of every meeting is learning how our donations have impacted our chosen charities. We were honored to have Joe Nettesheim, Executive Director, Family Promise, share with us his Impact Statement. Our donations of $7,379 (with a 50% match in process) are being used to continue their mission of transforming the lives of families experiencing homelessness. Their programs strive to help families achieve sustainable independence.

New Business
Most importantly, we heard presentations and voted to select a new charity to support. Three wonderful charities truly making a difference for those in our communities were presented. The charity chosen for support of 100+ Women Who Care--MKE Metro West for this meeting is:
If you didn't bring your checkbook to the meeting or if you were unable to attend the meeting, here is how you can donate to MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary:
You can mail your check or your team check made out to ‘MBHS’ within three weeks of the meeting to Judy Malaney, W178N6011 Prairie Sky Court, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.
You can send your donation or your team's donation by going to the website www.mbsanctuary.org/donate. Designate “General Operation’ and please include a note that your donation is part of 100+ WWC.
A special request to our Team Members: If you are able, we would like you to consider giving individually at the $100 level for our GIVING TUESDAY charity selection. This additional $$ will have a significant impact and help us to achieve our mission to bring together for one hour every 4 months, at least 100 women who each contribute $100 to a local charity.
Please be aware of these deadlines: Donations received in the USPS mail by December 23 would be most appreciated so not to interrupt the Christmas Holiday. We request online donations be received by December 29. Donations received by these dates will be eligible for our application to receive a 50% match. This is an incredible opportunity for our organization to boost each $100 donation to $150.00. Thank you so much for helping us meet the deadlines and allowing our total contributions to grow significantly.
If you should feel inclined to donate to either of the two other outstanding charities that were presented but did not get chosen, donations would be most appreciated.

Our History
100 Women Who Care was started in November of 2006 by Karen Dunigan of Jackson, MI, as a brilliantly simple way to raise money efficiently and quickly for local charities/non-profits/worthy causes.
Her group of 100 women, at their first one-hour meeting, each wrote a check for $100 directly to the charity, raising $10,000 to buy 300 new baby cribs for an organization in Jackson.
Now, 100 Women Who Care has extended to: 100 Men Who Care, 100 People Who Care, 100 Businesses Who Care, 100 Kids Who Care groups and so much more. There are currently 795 Who Care giving circles, with 571 in the U.S., making a huge impact with total donations of $52,000,000 in communities throughout the country and the world.
We started 100+ Women Who Care – MKE Metro West, in February 2016. At that meeting we gave to our first charity, Hebron House of Hospitality, a donation of $5,250. Over the past 9 years we have served many different groups of people -those with Disabilities(6), Children/Youth(5), Economically Disadvantaged(5), Women/Girls(4), Families(4), Homeless(3), and Elderly/Other(3) - throughout the Milwaukee Metro and SE Wisconsin area. Our members have chosen to support several issues, mainly with an emphasis on the area of Human Services. We are grateful to all our members who have been with us since that beginning, and those who have joined us during our 9 years of selecting and donating to local charities. We are SO PROUD of our accomplishments as a group and know that we can continue to
Make a Difference in our Communities!
